Introduction
Rain Trail Pictures was born in New Mexico after a hard rain dropped into a dry creek called an arroyo.
Led by veteran producer and distributor Tetsuki Ijichi, Rain Trail provides producer’s rep services and consulting for independent filmmakers and producers, especially Asian filmmakers interested in connecting with international distribution opportunities. Rain Trail also develops movie projects featuring Asian elements and talents.
Testimony
“Personally and honestly negotiates until the mission ends for clients!”
–Rie Nakano, Pandora Films – Japan
I believe that the screening of HIROSHIMA will lead to the abolition of nuclear weapons. Three generations of my family have been involved in making this movie a reality, from my grandfather who participated in this movie’s production, my father who started showing it in Japan, and now the third generation, including me. I am deeply grateful to Mr. Ijichi who opened the door to connect my family’s feelings to the world.
-Kai Kobayashi, Producer of “HIROSHIMA” Distribution Project – Japan
“Ijichi-san was remarkably efficient and tenacious in ensuring both the film and the book of The Creeping Garden reached Japanese audiences and readers, and we are endlessly grateful for his help.”
-Jasper Sharp, Co-Director/Co-Producer of documentary THE CREEPING GARDEN
"Rain Trail has picked up several titles for distribution that screened at PAAFF and helped to expose mainstream audiences in the USA and Asia to the works of Asian American indie filmmakers. We enjoy working with them and appreciate their detail-oriented approach to distributing niche content."
-Rob Buscher, Festival Director, Philadelphia Asian American Film Festival
